Here we go again!!! This will be the 7th year of the Iowa Tour and I like the way that it’s shaping up already. Last year was a HUGE success thanks to all of those sponsors and T.D.s. I’m proud to say that the EDGE Tournament Charity Program will once again be partnering with us, as we are seeing huge results with all of our continued efforts.
TJ and Kari Nydle were one of the many beneficiaries of last years’ tour. They are currently working with EDGE to continue the growth of our sport throughout the state. They had started a program last year and it seems as if it will be a great fit with the EDGE T.C.P. Way to go and congrats T.J. and Kari!
There's going to be 11 Tour stops this year. You're tag will get you a shot at a CTP at every Tour stop with a value of at least $30.00. You will also have a chance to win some great swag (prizes still in the works) at the end of the year if you bring one of the qualifying low tags in that morning. You have to be there that day to turn your tag in so make sure you get it on your calendar now. Last year alone the Tour paid out over $2700 in cash and prizes!!!
Make sure you get with ProFlight, Iron Lion or Vicious Circle Disc Golf to get your bag tag as soon as you can. You're going to need a tag to get those points tracked and to win some great prizes.
Were also so excited to say once again, whichever pro is leading the Tour in points at the end of the Des Moines Open is getting the Iowa Exemption for the USDGC.
